The Retreat Experience

FRIDAY: Arrival, Community, and Prayer Arriving anytime between 6-7pm, you’ll settle in, meet fellow retreatants, and ease into the weekend with praise and worship, introductions, and guided reflection. The activities begin at 7pm and focuses on the joys and crosses of the single vocation through Adoration, journaling, partner conversations, and the Stations of the Cross prayed with intentions for singles. We end with night prayer and relaxed social time and games.

SATURDAY: Identity, Love, and Discernment Saturday is our deep‑dive day. Through talks, discussions, Mass, and panels, we’ll explore:

  • Your identity
  • Christ‑centered love and the four marks of authentic love
  • Primary and secondary vocation
  • Myths and misconceptions about singleness and discernment
  • Catholic teaching on dating, relationships, and human sexuality
You’ll hear vocation stories from priests, religious, and consecrated persons, enjoy one-on-one conversations, small group activities, spend time outdoors, and build friendships with other retreatants. Confession will be available. The evening wraps up with an outdoor bonfire (weather permitting), praise and worship, and fellowship with an Oktoberfest theme.

SUNDAY: Discernment, Testimony, and Sending Forth We’ll carpool to Sunday Mass at a local parish, then return for brunch and a married‑life panel featuring couples in different seasons of marriage. You’ll have time to reflect on practical next steps in your own discernment, share questions, hear testimonies, and close the retreat with prayer ministry and gratitude.

This retreat is meant to be a place of peace, clarity, and authentic community. We can’t wait to see how God moves in each of your hearts.
